On this solemn day for the Roman Christians, I wish to present finished first Milites Christi Mounted Brothers (Hearthguard) unit to my Crusaders to Crescent and The Cross game (I suppose I also used it to Lion Rampant).
Models come from Fireforge- with small various modifications with other sets of historical plastics. The models look pretty good, but the whole time I like most about the quality of sets of Perry brothers.
My Hospitaller, modeled on the twelfth century, tried to give a little dark character. Perhaps the most visible is in the selection of colors and shades.
In preparation I have another unit in the form of a second cavalry, infantry and crossbowmen.

Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta (pot. Hospitallers, the Hospitallers, Knights of Malta) are a Catholic order of chivalry.
Order derives its origin directly from the medieval brotherhoods and orders of chivalry, created in the Middle East for the first wave of Crusades. He played a significant role in the history of Europe, mainly because of its - substantial once - military potential and a great fleet of war. Joannites also put enormous contribution to the work of the organization and conduct of the first medieval hospitals in Europe.

W tyn uroczystym dla rzymskich chrześcijan dniu, pragnę przedstawić skończony pierwszy oddział Milites Christi Mounted Brothers (Hearthguard) do moich Joannitów do gry Crescent and The Cross (Pewnie będę go także wykorzystywał do Lion Rampant).
Modele pochodzą od Fireforge'a z różnymi małymi modyfikacjami z innymi zestawami historycznych plastików. Modele wyglądają całkiem nieźle, choć cały czas najbardziej podoba mi się jakość zestawów braci Perrych.
Moim Szpitalnikom, stylizowanych na XII wiek, starałem się nadać nieco mrocznego charakteru. Widoczne chyba najbardziej jest to w doborze kolorów i ich odcieni.
W przygotowaniu mam kolejne jednostki w postaci drugiego oddziału jazdy, piechoty oraz kuszników.
A na razie zapraszam do Ziemi Świętej...
Joannici czyli,
Suwerenny Rycerski Zakon Szpitalników Świętego Jana, z Jerozolimy, z Rodos i z Malty (pot. Szpitalnicy, Joannici, Kawalerowie Maltańscy) są katolickim zakon rycerskim.
Zakon wywodzi swój rodowód bezpośrednio ze średniowiecznych bractw i zakonów rycerskich, powstałych na Bliskim Wschodzie na fali pierwszych wypraw krzyżowych. Odegrał znaczącą rolę w historii Europy, głównie ze względu na swój – istotny kiedyś – potencjał militarny i znakomitą flotę wojenną. Joannici położyli także olbrzymie zasługi w dziele organizacji i prowadzenia pierwszych średniowiecznych szpitali na kontynencie europejskim.
