I promised to show you the game board to the Pollyanna game...



Pollyanna...The Glad Game was made by Parker Brothers, Inc. and patented in 1915.

Pollyanna was a novel written in 1913 by Eleanor Porter.
The gist of the story is that a young girl named Pollyanna lived her life optimistically....always looking for the good side of things no matter what trouble came her way.

I love the colorful graphics of old board games...



This old Parcheesi game board was made in 1938.
